Marilyn Rose Warhover, nee Humphrey, age 81, of O’Fallon, IL, born on December 3, 1941 in East St. Louis, IL, died on July 6, 2023 at Oak Hill Nursing Home, Waterloo, IL.
Marilyn was a 1959 graduate of St. Teresa Academy, East St. Louis, IL. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking, especially fancy cakes. Marilyn also loved crocheting, quilting, crafting, movies, theater, and Broadway musicals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Warhover; her parents, Gilbert S. and Henrietta F., nee Fahrner, Humphrey; and her sister, Fay Carol Nussbaumer.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Brian E. (Linda) Warhover of Fairview Heights, IL, Suzanne F. Warhover of Belleville, IL, Jeannie K. (Brad) Payne of St. Louis, MO, and Angela B. Fearon (Jack Semelsberger), of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren, Rachel Warhover, Laura (Christopher) Schmittling, Jacob Fearon, Zachary Payne, and Ryan (Holley) Payne; three great grandchildren, Amelia Schmittling, Bradley Payne, and Brooklynn Payne; her brothers, John Humphrey and Norman Humphrey; and her dear friend, Steve Jolly.
Memorials can be made at the mortuary to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America or at ADAA.org, or to an organization of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
