I worked for Frank at Scott AFB. He was the nicest individual that always greeted me with a smile. I remember his passion of gemstones and I learned so much about them from Frank.
He also spoke of his love for his family and the pride he had for his kids and all of his grandchildren.
I will keep you all in prayer and thank you Mrs. Katzler for sharing Frank with us at Scott AFB.

Thank you so much for your kind words. My dad had passion for so many things and loved educating people of what he had learned about it. Again, thank you from our family.

So very sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I worked with Frank at Scott AFB for 7 years -- he was a wonderful, spirited person and I remember many great stories he shared about his early days in the military. He also spoke lovingly of his family of whom he was very proud. May God Bless and comfort each of you. Kathy Peters

We were so saddened to hear of Frank's passing. We knew him from work at Scott AFB and oh my the stories we could tell! Frank had so many interests and was so smart on a variety of subjects. He taught us...he made us laugh...he shared history...and oh my goodness could he get fired up on some subjects?! Truly a bright light. To the family - thank you for letting us share a little bit of that. Our deepest sympathies. Charles & Carol Sanders

My dad was a riot. I miss the phone calls where he’d compare his military career with mine. Thank you for thinking of him and many blessings to your family from ours.
