Loretta L Slagle

Loretta LaVerne Slagle, age 90, of Belleville, IL, born on April 14, 1933, in E. St. Louis, IL, died on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at St. Paul’s Senior Community, Belleville, IL.

Loretta was  a member of the Caseyville Township Senior Center and the Golden Years Adult Center, Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Slagle Sr; her parents, Harry and Loretta, nee Hopfinger, Freiberg; her brother, Joseph Freiberg and  her twin sister, Lorraine Yow.

Loretta is survived by her nephew, David Yow and niece, Robin Schiller (Danny Sullivan).

Memorials may be given to the family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 4:00 p.m.to 800 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL, with Rev. Ken York officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
