Lisa Louise Eaton

Lisa L. Eaton, age 63, of Alton, IL, born on January 11, 1962, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her daughter’s residence in O’Fallon, IL.

Lisa was employed as a food manager at Villa Rose Senior Living Community. She enjoyed her job and loved working with the residents. Lisa loved all animals and never met one she didn’t like. She enjoyed her family, camping, fishing, and horseback riding. Lisa also was a wonderful cook, and owned Lisa’s Diner in Granite City, IL.

She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Burrows, at birth; her parents, Marion and Melba, nee Massey Smith; and her brothers, Kenneth Smith and Dennis Smith.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Joseph “Joe” Eaton; her children, Melinda “Mindy” (Jeff) Crankshaw, Megan Jones, Amy Eaton (Greg Walck) and Amanda Eaton; 14 loving grandchildren; her siblings, Chaz (Donna) Smith, James “Jim” Smith, Linda (Keith) Hannaford, Sharon (Jack) Coleman, and Misty (David) Ishum. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and furry friends.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
