Linda C. Parmeley, age 76, of Caseyville, IL, born on January 17, 1950 in Jefferson City, MO, died on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda was a beautician in her early years and later worked in accounting at Cass Bank, St. Louis, MO. Her true passion was being a homemaker. She proudly and happily raised her three sons with her husband, and later cherished her grandchildren, spending as much time as possible with them. Linda was an active member of Grace Church in Fairview Heights for many years, and more recently at Revive Church in Collinsville, IL. She loved singing at church and in a gospel quartet. The most important things in Linda’s life were her faith and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dennis R. Parmeley; her parents, Hilton and Dorothy Russell Smith; and her sister, Patricia (Buzz) Clear.
Linda is survived by her children, Richard D. (Sara) Parmeley, Christopher M. (Melissa) Parmeley and Jeffrey S. (Brandy) Parmeley; her grandchildren, Mason Parmeley, Landon Parmeley, Logan Parmeley, Lydia Parmeley, and Addison Parmeley; her brothers, Jim (Linda) Smith, Gary (Debbie) Smith, Larry McLean, Jack (Donna) Smith; and her sister, Kay (John) Dalhaus.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Revive Church, Collinsville, IL.
Linda received great support and loving care from her extended family, many friends, and neighbors. Her family offers a special heartfelt thanks to all of them.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Revive Church, 1105 Beltline Road, Collinsville, IL.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Revive Church, with Pastor Myles Holmes officiating. A private interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
