Laura Ann Koskie

Laura  Ann Koskie, age 65, of Caseyville, IL, born on November 8, 1959 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at BJC Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

A graduate of St. Stephen Grade School in Caseyville, IL, Laura was also a 1977 graduate of Collinsville High School.  

She worked as hard as any man or woman at Bluffview Farms, American Steel and most recently, at Golden Dipt in Millstadt, IL. Laura had a heart made of pure gold. Her generosity knew no bounds.
She loved her family more than anything. Laura was a beacon of kindness, and her memory will forever reside in our hearts. Although we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dolores, nee Werner, Koskie; her sister-in-law, Debbie Koskie; her brother-in-law, Jerry Juengel; and a great- nephew, Jackson Michael Pfershy.

She is survived by her siblings, Joe (Sharon) Koskie of California, MO, Wayne Koskie of Homedale, ID, John (Paula) Koskie of Granite City, IL, Vickie Juengel of Caseyville, IL, Mark (Teresa) Koskie of Worden, IL, and Theresa Koskie of Collinsville, IL; many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion, Perry Rigsby of Caseyville, IL.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Stephen  Catholic Church, Caseyville, IL. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
