Larry J. Lyles, Sr.

Larry J. Lyles, Sr., age 65, of Troy, IL formerly of Fairview Heights, IL, born on July 14, 1955 in Denver, CO died on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Larry was a former self-employed carpenter in residential building and remodeling. He was a member of Elks Lodge #644 in Fairview Heights, IL, and VFW Post #5691 in Collinsville, IL.  Larry was an avid pool player and was a loving dad, grandpa, and great grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Doris, nee Cunningham, Lyles; and two brothers, James T. Lyles and Michael A. Lyles.

Larry is survived by his children, Larry J. Lyles, Jr., David A (Sarah) Lyles, Bonnie J. (Floyd) Penelton, and Sheila (Dustin) Stephens; 15 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; and his brother, Jerry (Linda Gail) Lyles.  

Memorials may be made the VFW Post #5691 in Collinsville, IL.

A private, family graveside service will be held at a later date.
