Kenneth E. "Kenny" Martin

Kenneth E. “Kenny” Martin, age 84, of Troy, IL, born on December 19, 1939, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Kenny retired as a production supervisor with Anheuser-Busch Company in St. Louis, MO. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball and Cardinal Football, and later a Rams fan.  He loved to tailgate, and was the tailgating head cook for the football buddies.  Kenny played and coached men’s softball.  He loved to golf, trout fish, and vacation, but mostly traveling to Florida.  Kenny was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Nicholetta Martin, nee Howell.

Kenny is survived by his wife; Philippine Martin, nee David; his daughters, Teri (Mike) Gooding of Belleville, IL, Debi (Jim) Germann of Waltonville, IL, and Sharon David of Troy, IL; his 5 grandchildren, Nichole (Chad) Kunz, Derek (Abbie) Wilke, Chris (Christine) Gooding, Angie (Eric) Burnett, and Kari (Nick) Hale; 7 great grandchildren, Hunter, Charli and Katie Kunz, Brooklyn and Peyton Hale, and Addison and Landon Gooding; and his four-legged buddy, Molly.  Kenny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
