Kenneth Brown

Kenneth Brown, age 80, of Fairmont City, IL, born on July 19, 1943, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Kenny worked for Terminal Railroad as a switchman for 43 years, from 1960-2003. He loved the outdoors, riding four wheelers and hunting, but especially sitting outside enjoying nature from the back porch of his schoolhouse, which was an actual old school from many years ago that was converted into a home. Kenny always looked forward to spending time with his family and loved going to eat with sister Linda, and was very proud of his grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn (Little) Brown; sister, Connie Sue Brown; brother, Charles E. Brown; sister in law, Mary Brown, and brother in law, Edward McLemore

Kenny is survived by his children, Kristi (Mike) Brown and Jennifer (Tim) Brown; and his four grandsons, Michael, Jacob, Logan, and Blake Brown; a sister Linda McLemore; and brother Gerald E. Brown; sister in law Marilyn Brown, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
