Kathryn M. Gettz

Kathryn M. Gettz, age 84, of Belleville, IL, born on March 19, 1940, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.

Kathryn was an administrative secretary for Parks College and later worked for Mercantile Bank.  She was obsessed with St. Louis Cardinal baseball and spoke to her cousins often about the team games and history.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Stephanie, nee Krypciak Gettz; and her aunts, Albina Edwards, Josephine Keserauskis, Stella Peck, Vera Krause and Mary Finley.

Kathryn is survived by her cousins, David Edwards Family, Jacqueline Longust Family, Mary Vahlkamp Family, Ed Peck Family, Tim Peck Family, Patty Jenkins Family, and Carla Stone Family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
