Kathleen Ann "Pookie" Carr

Kathleen Ann “Pookie” nee, Snyder Carr, 69, of Sullivan, MO, born on November 28, 1956, in East St. Louis, IL, died on December 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Kathleen was a 1974 graduate of Collinsville High School. She loved her TV shows, sewing and crocheting in her free time, and worked as a seamstress. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. Snyder and Marjorie A. Heaton.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Eugene D. Carr; children, Paul (Meghan) Carr of Affton, MO and Richard (Rachel) Carr or Sullivan, MO; grandchildren, Owen Carr, Lucas Carr and Ari Carr; siblings, Debbie Zillen of Gillespie, IL, Joanne Snyder of Sullivan, MO, and Joe Snyder (Carol Woolsey) of Steelville, MO; Kathleen was also a loving aunt and friend.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
