Kara M. Gourley

Kara Michelle Gourley, age 34, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Imperial, MO, born on December 23, 1988 in Belleville, IL, died on Friday, June 23, 2023 at BJC Hospice, St. Louis, MO.

Kara was a former postal clerk for the United States Postal Service. She was a diehard New Orleans Saints football fan. Kara loved all animals, especially her adopted fur baby, Lucy.

Kara is survived by her parents, William and Vicki, nee Doedli, Gourley of St. Charles, MO; her siblings, Ryan Griffin of Waterloo, IL, and Rachel (Tim) Maguire of St. Charles, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Mason, Charlotte, Addison, Reese, Ryland, and Duke. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, and fur baby, Lucy.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Father James Nall officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
