Judy F. Baird

Judy Faye (Pierce) Baird, 74, of Collinsville, IL., born October 2, 1950, in Paris TN., was resting peacefully in her home after recently being diagnosed with cancer when she was called to Heaven on August 1, 2025.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Orville Lee and Etta Lee (Bell) Pierce; her beloved husband of over 42 years, John (Ron) Ronald Baird; a granddaughter, Angel Shayleise Brown and about a month ago, her grandson, Morgan Andrew Erhardt.

She is survived by her children, daughters, Brittainy (Baird) Branch of Collinsville; Bethany Baird of Shiloh, IL; her son, and his wife, Brandon & Tabbitha (Gilley) Baird of New Baden, IL. Judy was known as Grammy to her grandchildren, Grace and Maggie Boecklen of Addieville, IL, Montgomery Erhardt and fiancee, Abby Galvez of Shiloh, IL, John, Kensley, and Odin Baird of New Baden, IL, as well as a great granddaughter, Marie Erhardt of Shiloh, IL and her 2 older brothers that Grammy loved very much. Judy will also be missed immensely by her sister, Betty (Jim) Riley of West Lafayette, IN. and all of her nieces and nephews.

Judy was a proud member of Lead Church and was very serious about her faith. She expressed to everyone that she had no fear or questions about what comes next and knew that she would be going to Heaven to be with the Lord and all of her loved ones who passed before her.

Per Judy's request, there will not be a wake or funeral services held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held sometime in the near future at a location that has yet to be determined where people may come to pay their respect. Details will be on Facebook when plans have been made.
