Judith A. Phillips

Judith A. Phillips, nee Wilhold, age 80, of Troy, IL, passed away early on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home.  She was born on October 21, 1941, and is from Fairmont City, IL.

Judy loved spending time with her family cooking meals, celebrating holidays, and playing cards.  She worked as a cashier “lunch lady” at Triad High School and retired in 2011.  Judy was always the life of the party and loved to make people laugh.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Don Phillips; her parents, Gilbert O. and Bernice F., nee Petroski Wilhold; her great-granddaughter, Keira Renee Fernandez; her brother, Gilbert A. (Willie) Wilhold; and her sister-in-law, Kathy Wilhold.

Judy is survived by her children, Renee Kelly of Troy, IL, Tracy Sutton, of Troy, IL, and Kenneth (Tricia) Phillips of Lagrange, IN; her grandchildren, Meghan (Matthew) Fernandez, Justin Sutton, Douglas (Kelly) Kelly, Logan Fields, and Brendon Phillips; her great grandchildren, Christian, Cailyn, Caeden, Natalie, and Charlie Jo; and her siblings, Alice (Sonny) Huskamp, Donald Wilhold, Sr., Phillip (Donna) Wilhold, and David (Diana) Wilhold. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
