Sorry to hear the news on John passing. Will remember our days at St. Cyril playing football & softball with other PING PONGers.

Dear Aunt Theresa, Steve, Theresa, Stacy, Christy and Sean,

Love the picture of John on the site. I am extremely sorry about the the loss of John. I am sorry about the pain you must each feel. My oldest cousin was always a hero to me.
I have great memories of the time I spent with my cousins. I love to think about going catfishing with our Dads. I love to think about frying those monsters in your back yard in E. St. Louis. I remember listening to your recordings of the 1967 World Series.
Your family was a comfort to me when my family members died. Several of those deaths were a great shock to me. I love the Tassallo family and am praying for your relief and resiliency.

I was so sorry to hear the news of John's passing. I started grade school with him at St. Cyril's in 1960 and was a classmate until our graduation from Assumption High School in East St. Louis in '72. I got back in touch with him over the past few years via social media and enjoyed both our political sparring and discussions of rock music. John was a good man and a respected veteran. RIP.

John, It was so nice getting reacquainted with you and meeting your mom over the last few years. You died on the Feast of the Epiphany - such an appropriate day to go home to the Lord as The Wise Men were searching for Him the very first Christmas long ago. You surely had your purgatory on earth as you lived with so much disability and pain ever since your horrible MVA years ago.
