Some of the best childhood memories my siblings and I have are of us hanging out at the Adam’s house- and with Mr. Adams. He would sit in his chair in the TV room while we all watched golf and football together. My siblings and I were just small kids and we would ask all of the dumb questions that kids ask about life. Mr. Adams would answer them all with a sense of humor and care that the great parents tended to give the to neighborhood kids. Mr. Adams (as we called him,) was one of those guys for the whole neighborhood. The Adams eventually moved from the neighborhood, and I did not get to see him much when I became an adult. But I’ll still miss him. He left a colorful and wonderful mark on all of our childhoods.
