JoAnn Carril

JoAnn Carril, age 84, of Collinsville, IL, born on April 30, 1939, in Fairmont City, IL, died on July 14, 2023 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

JoAnn was graduate of E. St. Louis Senior High School and a member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church, Collinsville, IL. She loved to cook and sew and take care of her sons and family.

She worked as a manager for the IBEW Local #309 Credit Union and volunteered with the Texas Baptist Men.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herb and Frieda, nee Perucca, Felty; her brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Judy Felty; her great grandchild Kayaneh Carril.

JoAnn  is survived by her husband, Raymond Carril; her sons, Scott (Monica) Carril and Jim (Patty) Carril; grandchildren, Kellen (Sevahn) Carril, Kiersten Hudson, Ray Carril, Zach Carril, Ben (Chelsie) Carril; great grandchildren, Ava, Ryder, Wesley and Sunny; her sister, Jeannie (Phillip) Zerillo and brother, Kenny (Jane) Felty. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials can be made to the Texas Baptist Men in JoAnn’s honor or to Meadow Heights Baptist Church, Collinsville, IL

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Kassly Mortuary , Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral services on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Kassly Mortuary Chapel, Fairview Heights, IL. with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL
