Jane E. Howerton

Jane E. Howerton, age 82, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on January 9, 1942, in St. Louis, MO, died on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Granite Nursing and Rehab Center, Granite City, IL.

Jane was a former LPN at Castle Haven and River Bluffs Nursing Homes for 21 years.  She was a faithful member of Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, IL and was active in Ruth Sunday School Class, The Juliet Breakfast Group, Cooking Team, Library Volunteer Group, ladies bible studies as well as the Bible Study Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Howerton; and her parents, Carroll William and Lucille L., nee Coke Adams.

Jane is survived by her Winstanley Baptist Church Group and will be sadly missed.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL, with Pastor Timothy Gibson officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
