J. Mark Quinn, age 67, of Caseyville, IL, born on November 17, 1956, in St. Louis, MO, died on Saturday, June 15, 2024.
Mark attended St. Phillips and Assumption High School leading him to a career as a Tool and Die Maker. He dedicated many years working side by side with his father and brother at East Side Tool and Die Company.
He had a creative mind and was such a talented artist producing many works of art including wood working, painting, sketching, and pottery. He found joy spending time outdoors and listening to music. His love for music led him to learning how to play the guitar and harmonica. Mark had such a big heart and would lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Quinn; his dad, James E. Quinn; his sister, Julie Quinn; and his mother and father-in-law, Bob and Babe Baker.
Mark is survived by his wife, Robin Quinn, nee Baker of O’Fallon, IL; his daughter, Sarah (Brandon) Goode of O’Fallon, IL; his grandchildren, Quinn and Avery Goode, of O’Fallon, IL; his mother, Joan E. Quinn of Caseyville, his siblings, Christie (Ken) Coonley of Collinsville, IL, Linda (Dan) Meirink of Belleville, IL, Tony (Anne) Quinn of Belleville, IL, and M. Cathy (David) Dye of St. Louis, MO. Mark is also survived by his brother-in-law, Jim (Chris) Baker of Kansas City, MO, his sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Michael) Klebert of Fairview Heights, IL, and Pat Baker of O’Fallon, IL. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Karla Smith Behavioral Health, 200 N. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon, IL.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
