James E. LeRoy

James E. LeRoy, age 88, of Fairview Heights, born on April 24, 1935, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at St. Louis University, St. Louis, MO.

James was a United States Airforce Veteran and retired from McDonnell-Douglas. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. James enjoyed music, plants, birdhouses and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his son, James LeRoy, his daughter, Linda Potochney; his parents, Katherine, nee Harley and Bethel LeRoy; and his siblings, William LeRoy, Marcus LeRoy, Velma Tucker, Shirley Cornstubble, Jerry LeRoy, and Ruth Ann Cornstubble.

James is survived by his wife, Lynda LeRoy, nee Seaman; his children, Janet LeRoy, Danny LeRoy, Ronna Sue Peterson, and Terri Lasley; 36 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and loving great-great grandchildren.

James will be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
