Gilberto A. Meza, age 16, of Caseyville, IL, formerly of Rio Hondo, TX, born on October 6, 2007, in Corpus Christi, TX, died on Sunday, February 11,  2024, at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, MO.  

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A funeral procession will leave Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:40 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Casevyille, IL. Fr. Harold Fisher, O.M.I. officiating.

Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 9:45 a.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
