Geraldine "Geri" Huskamp

Geraldine “Geri” Huskamp, nee Walker, age 85, of Fairmont City, IL, born on October 16 1939, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy “Lee” Huskamp; her son, Michael Huskamp; grandsons, Justin Markezich and Taylor Markezich; mother, Gladys Dawson; sisters, Joyce Patterson and Helen Pinsker; brothers, William Walker and Clyde Walker.  

She is survived by her sons; Leroy (Sherry) Huskamp Jr of Granite City, IL and Christopher (Patty) Huskamp of Pontoon Beach, IL; step-daughters, Sharon Wagner of Troy, IL and Shelly (Pete) Bishop of O’Fallon, IL; grandchildren, Adam, Michael, James, Brett, Kayla and Nicholas Huskamp, Danielle Hoernschemeyer; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Shelia (Erik) Michelson; brother, Richard Walker and her best friend of 52 years, Margaret Maberry.

She loved collecting American Indian memorabilia, reading and gardening.  Above all she dearly loved her family.

 The family would like to extend a special thank you to Vitas Hospice and nurses.

 There will be no services.
