Faye Alberta Pritz, age 95, born on January 4, 1927, did it her way again. She went home on August 8, 2022, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, IL.
She was born on Frederick Benjamin McFarland and Harriette Irene Collins, one of thirteen brothers and sisters. Family was very important to her, due to living in an orphanage part of her life. She enjoyed cooking for her family and large gatherings. Friends were like her family too. She was one of the first meter maids in East St. Louis, IL and had her real estate license retiring after 40 years of hard work.
Faye belonged to many clubs, such as Eastern Star, Ainad Belles, VFW Auxiliary, Black Nights Drum & Bugle Support, and Job’s Daughters Parents. She loved bingo, was an avid Cardinal baseball fan and dancing when she was younger. Faye enjoyed her church, and fishing with her husband on the lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Pritz, Sr; her children, Lenny A. (Carol) Pritz, and Irene R. Pritz; her parents, Frederick Benjamin and Harriette Irene, nee Collins McFarland; and her siblings.
Faye is survived by her son, Albert L. “Lou” Pritz; her granddaughter, Tracy Papproth, whom she raised; five grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
Visitation will also be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Christian Church, Caseyville, IL.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Thomas Schofield officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
