Fatmae Yahya, age 82, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on December 27, 1939, in Sierra Leone, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at her residence.
Fatmae was the owner of an import store.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abdul Karim Kafel; and her parents, Ali Yahya and Sikne Jawad.
Fatmae is survived by her children, Mohamed Kafel and Yusra Kefel (Michael Beamer); and her siblings, Hussein Yahya, Monifeh Yahya, Mohamad Yahya, Fethiye Yahya, Abdul Karim Yahya, Nohad Yahya, Najla Yahya and Elham Yahya.
