Elizabeth “Beth” Gregowicz, age 63, of Belleville, IL, passed away on October 2, 2025, in her home after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.
Beth was born on February 28, 1962 in Camp Pendleton, CA. She attended Belleville Township High School West and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Beth enjoyed her work at Macy’s.
Beth was a beloved sister, daughter, and aunt to her three nephews, Bryce, Rhys, and Aiden Collins. She was a talented cook and avid reader. Her generous nature was seen in her volunteer work at Memorial Hospital and at Mind’s Eye at Our Lady of the Snows Shrine in Belleville. All who knew her will miss her humor, wit, and especially, her warmth and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia (Ginny) Gregowicz; and her sister, Joan Collins. She is survived by her father, Andy Gregowicz, of Belleville, IL; and her sisters, Amy Gregowicz of Belleville, IL, and Margaret (Meg) of Stoneham, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Chapel, 1500 Baugh Ave., East St. Louis, IL.
Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Chapel, 1500 Baugh Ave., East St. Louis, IL., with Father Charles Hart, O.F.M. officiating.
