Edward “Butch” Johnston, age 76, of Shiloh, IL, born on June 6, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on December 11, 2025 at his residence.
Butch was a truck driver for Grey Eagle Distributors. He retired after over 30 years of driving. He loved playing pickleball three times a week at the Fairview Heights Rec Center. An avid Harley Davidson fan, Butch loved riding whenever he had the chance. He also liked going out dancing and karaoke.
He as preceded in death by his spouse, Clara Johnston; his parents, Barney and Helen, nee Gryzb, Johnston; and his siblings, Frank Johnston and Rose Sifuentes. Butch is survived by his nieces, Kathleen A. Sifuentes, Patricia M. Sifuentes, and Christina E. Sifuentes.
A memorial ride will be held sometime in April or May for Edward. The final information and any inquiries for this ride will be provided by John Wesley 314-520-0908 and Billy Petterson 618-550-1103.
