Donna Barboza

Donna Barboza, nee Hearty, age 68, of Belleville, IL, born on May 26, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Friday February 23, 2024 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Donna spent her whole life taking care of other people. She was a foster parent for 24 years for Hoyleton Youth and Family Services. She enjoyed doing crafts, sewing, and refinishing furniture.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Barboza; her daughter, Tracy Barboza; her parents, John and Imogene, nee Bruce, Hearty; and her siblings, Jerry Hearty, Eugene Hearty, Gary Hearty, and Kathy Hearty.

Donna is survived by her children, Scott (Sarah) Barboza, Brittany Barboza, Bridgette Barboza, Josiah Barboza, and Raymond Barboza; her grandchildren, Ryder Harbison, Riley Harbison, Ryatt Harbison, Mia Edwards, and Cooper Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Hoyleton Youth and Family Services.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, March, 2, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
