Dennis H. Pea II

Dennis H. Pea, II, age 47, of Caseyville, IL, born on October 4, 1976, in Belleville, IL, died on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Gateway Foundation, Springfield, IL.

Dennis was a self-employed home remodeler.  He loved throwing darts, bags and washers. He was in the National Softball Association USSSA 1998 Illinois State Championship team. Dennis also enjoyed working on his car with his dad, and other home projects.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah F. Pea, nee Cantrell; and his sister, Dawn M. Pea.

Dennis is survived by his children, Carlee (Von Hudson) Pea of Collinsville, IL and Dakota Carlyle of St. Louis, MO; his granddaughter, Remmington Hudson; his father, Dennis H. Pea; his nephews, Kyle Pea and Logan Abernathy; his aunts and uncles, Billy O’Dell, Kevin O’Dell, Roger (Madonna) Pea, and John (Lisa) Pea; and his four-legged buddies, Ryder and Tank.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Go Fund Me “Little Dennis” funeral fund or directly to his father at the mortuary.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL with Fr. Harold Fisher O.M.I. officiating.   

Interment will be in St. Clair Memorial Park, Fairview Heights, IL.
