Dennis E. Cook, Sr.

Dennis E. Cook, Sr. age 69, of Belleville, IL, born on December 7, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Monday, January 1, 2024, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Dennis worked in the landscaping business and worked very hard for many years.  He always tried to do his best for his family.  Dennis loved watching baseball and football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia, nee Graham Cook; and his siblings, Donald Cook, Leonard Cook, Delores Herzberg, and Clinton Cook.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Christina Cook, nee Watson; his children, Cynthia (Cary) Lilly, Michael (Tangy) Nochta, Dennis (Penny) Cook, Jr., Jeffrey (Erin) Cook, Timothy Cook, Tabbitha Cook, Noah Cook, and Nathanial Cook; his grandchildren, Christopher Cheatham, Zachary Cheatham, Ariel Staley, Hailey Nochta, Cheyenne Barteau, Kassie Wyman, Hannah Cook, Shellbe Cook, Jeffrey “J.C.” Cook, Dennis Cook III, Brayden Nochta, and Jesse Cook; 9 great grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Sue (Bob) Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Shiloh Community Center, Shiloh, IL.
