Denise R. Deberry

Denise R. Deberry, nee Schaefer, age 52, of O’Fallon, IL, born on July 12, 1968, in Belleville, IL, died on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL.

Denise grew up in Fairview Heights, IL and was a 1986 graduate of Belleville East High School.  For the past 16 years, Denise, was a preschool teacher at First Christian Church in Belleville, IL.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Mary (nee Bogardus) Schaefer, Jr.

Denise is survived by her husband, Dave Deberry; her daughter, Chase Deberry; her son, Griffin Deberry; and her siblings, John (Paula) Emerson, Kevin Emerson, Scott (Dawn) Schaefer and Brian Schaefer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd. Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Pastor Cathy Wright officiating.  Interment will be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
