David A. Moss

David A. Moss, age 60, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on December 6, 1963, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, at his residence.

David was a 1982 graduate of Althoff High School and went on to become a steel fabricator.  He enjoyed watching Mizzou basketball and football, Cardinal baseball and Blues hockey. David was a big music fan and loved The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead. He also loved fishing in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Moss, nee Zittle; and his mother-in-law, Pat Swengross.

David is survived by his children, Tyler Moss and Grace Moss; his step-children, Emily (Newt) Hall and Nick Stephenson; his parents, Gilbert and Joan, nee Saling Moss; his siblings, Mike (Diane) Moss, Kris (Mike) Stone, Karen (Ed) Miller, Kelley (Joel) Murray; and his father-in-law, George (Sonny) Swengross.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
