Darius M. Ransom, age 30, of Belleville, IL, born on January 25, 1990 in Belleville, IL, died on Monday, October 12, 2020 in O'Fallon, IL.

Darius graduated from Belleville West High School in 2009. He went on to work at various restaurants and fast-food jobs through the years. He loved working in the food industry, even working multiple jobs at the same time.

He would light up a room with his big smile. Darius had a laugh that was unique and heard from all around. He loved his cars, traveling, music, movies, his PlayStation and SEAFOOD. Darius was an outgoing person and just loved to have fun. He was a sweet person; and was loved by his family and friends. He will be missed.

He is survived by his mother, Daisey Bland of Belleville, IL; his father, Zemry Ransom of East St. Louis, IL; his grandmother, Florence Bland; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
