Dear family of Colonel Lee,

I knew your parents from St. Albert the Great, and never met a more gracious couple. We sang with Jo in the choir, had choir parties, etc. I would see Col. Lee and sweet Theresa at the fish fries occasionally. Always friendly and kind.

The very day the Colonel got to go home, I was thinking about him - hoping he'd be set free from gravity & this world and happily off flying - which is how I picture him now (well, part of the time, when he's not hanging out with beloved family & friends). :) That said, I'm sorry for the sadness his dying causes in the hearts of those whose lives were so intertwined with his. I'll be praying for God's comfort for each of you, in the way you need it most. Love & prayers!

I am filled with such wonderful memories as I think of your Dad. Our families actually blended for a time - an experience that bonded us forever. You are in my prayers these days as we celebrate his life.

We were sorry to see that your father had died. He was a hero by his service to his country, church, community and family. I always respected his stature as a true gentleman! He led a very long and active life helping many! He will always be in your heart!
