Cheryl A. Ewen

Cheryl Ann Ewen, age 68, of Belleville, IL, born on March 2, 1958 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on March 30, 2026.

Cheryl loved reading, crafting, thrifting and flea markets. She loved thrifting and buying various dolls for her collection. She would often give away her dolls too, if she knew it would make someone happy. Cheryl, most of all, loved to make people happy and caring for her grandchildren. Being a “Gigi” was her most treasured title.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Abrams; siblings, Arthur “Gary” Abrams, Wanda Amos, and Sue Rush.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Abrams, Nicole (Mark) Correira, Denise Ewen, and Joseph Lobsinger; grandchildren, Michael, Mya, Caden, Neveah, and Cody; her best friends, Olivia Pirtle, Debbie Kaiser, and John Carr; and Donald Lobsinger, the father and stepfather to her children. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and “children of the heart”.

A Celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at a later date.
