Obituary

Charlie W. Clark, age 37, of Smithton, IL, born on September 22, 1985, in Vandalia, IL, died on Monday, April 24, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, IL.

Charlie was the Operations Manager for North Dakota Grain Inspection-Illinois for 17 years.  He enjoyed playing tennis, driving fast cars, motorcycles, watersports, lifting weights, and held many black belts in Tae Kwan Do.

He is survived by his parents, Roger (Peggy) Clark, and Sheryl Clark & Dallas Stubblefield; his siblings, Roddy (Gina) Clark, Mandy (Walt) Pearson, Travis (Kelly) Clark, Michael (Tim) Wagner, and Marcie (Tony) Hanson, Jr.; and his niece and nephews, Makale, Clark, Trevor, Parker, Blake, Grace, Chandler, Chase, Mason, Landon, and Nolan.  Charlie is also survived by cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  Cremation will follow services.
