Charlene Boehm

Charlene L. Boehm, age 67, of Millstadt, IL, born on April 6, 1953 in St. Louis, MO, died on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Cedarhurst of Collinsville.

Charlene was a devoted mother, avid league bowler, bingo player and was a former Avon representative for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary, nee Reiser, Thompson Sr.; her mother-in-law Margaret Boehm; her former husband James W. Boehm.

Charlene is survived by her son, James R. Boehm of Millstadt, IL; her mother Jean, nee Paulik, Thompson of Shiloh, IL; her brothers, Charles (Cathy) Thompson Jr. of Collinsville, IL, Rodney (Susan) Thompson of Willow Springs, MO; her sister, Rachelle (Patrick) McCarthy of Fairview Heights, IL; step brother Steve Adams of Belleville, IL; brother-in-law Richard Boehm of Fairview Heights, IL; sister-in-law Mary (Vince) Williams of Oak Hill, VA; sister-in-law Pat Boehm (Randy Parmlee)  of St. Jacob, IL; goddaughter Heather Gundlach of Millstadt, IL. Charlene is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and a great niece and great nephew.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital or Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Il.
