Chadwick Collins

Chadwick “Chad” W. Collins, age 51, of Evansville, Il, formerly of Belleville, IL, born on December 18, 1972, in Belleville, IL, died on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Chad was a heavy equipment operator with Cowan Electric in Algonquin, IL. He loved working with his hands and using tools, loved hunting, and all things “man.” Chad was very social and always in motion. He loved the Lord, was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, and was a member of Gospel Assembly Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Marybelle Hampsey, and Dale and Helen Collins.

Chad is survived by his children, Matthew W. (Katie) May of Red Bud, IL, Phoebe (Justin) Foltz of Branson, MO, and Cole, Stefani, and Sam, all of Branson, MO; his grandchildren, Matthew “Wyatt” May and Charlotte May; his parents, Dennis and Deborah, nee Hampsey, Collins, of Festus, MO;  and his brother, Darwin J. (Elisha) Collins of Festus, MO. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and  many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  

Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June, 11, 2024, at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL, with Pastor DeWayne Jolly officiating.
