Carmina Arriola

Carmina Arriola, nee Ramirez, age 90, of Fairmont City, IL, born on July 24, 1931, in Langloth, PA, died on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at her residence.

Carmina was employed by Unidynamics and she retired from McDonnell Douglas. She loved to paint pictures, and dance with her husband.  Carmina was a member of the Fairmont City Senior Citizen Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Polack” Arriola, Sr., her parents, Apolonio and Frances Ramirez; and her brothers, Anthony, Joseph, Ralph, Christopher, and Richard.

Carmina is survived her sons, Raymond (Chrea) Arriola, Jr., and Steven M. (Cheryl) Arriola; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jim) McClatchey, Sarah (Jacob) Stork, Kevin (Brianna) Arriola, Mariah Arriola (Abel Hernandez), and Ciara Arriola (Tony Davis); her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Eleanor, Isabella, Andres, Alonso, Abel, Jr., Adrien, and Thalia; her sisters, Dolores Chilton, and Angie Zakszewski; and her brother-in-law, Charles (Carmen) Arriola.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL, with Fr. Harold Fisher officiating. 

Procession will leave on Friday, November 12, 2021, from Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, at 9:30 a.m. for burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
