Bruce W. Price

Bruce W. Price, age 57, of Belleville, IL, born on October 5, 1966, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at his residence.

Bruce enjoyed life itself and kept life simple and did not worry about material things.  He was a self-employed residential and commercial painter and took pride in all jobs he completed.  He easily made friends of perfect strangers and enjoyed competing in pool leagues.  He was a loving brother and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Marilyn, nee Dedmon Price; and his brother-in-law, Edward Brandes.

Bruce is survived by his step-mother, Carolyn Price; his siblings, Marilyn Brandes, Debbie (Richard) Dufresne, Sherry (Dillard “Jigger”) Coleman, and Phillip Price.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family c/o Debora Dufresne and can be given at the mortuary.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL.  Cremation will follow services.
