Brenda Ramirez

Brenda Ramirez, age 36, of Fairmont City, IL, born on October 22, 1988, in St. Louis, MO, died on Friday, September 19, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Clayton, MO.

Brenda's greatest joy in life was her family and friends.  She had a special love for celebrations and family gatherings, that were often filled with her infectious warmth.  Above all, she cherished her role as a mother; her children were her pride and joy, and her life was rich with treasured family memories.  She will be deeply missed and remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and a loving personality that left a lasting impact on all who met her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ofelia Ramirez, nee Barrera; and her nephew, Wyatt L. Ramirez.

Brenda is survived by her children, Emma S. Ramirez, Natalie E. Ramirez, Ivan A. Ramirez, and Zoe G. Ramirez; her father, Jose L Ramirez; her siblings, Manuela (Enrique) Carranza, Sonia (Emanuel) Lamas, Jose L. (Chrissie) Ramirez, Jr., Mirna Ramirez, George L. Ramirez, and Daniel Ramirez; and her nieces and nephews, Chavo Escoto, Adolfo Escoto, Jr., Enrique Carranza, Jr., Emanuel Lamas, Jr., Giselle Lamas, Luis A. Lamas, Abigail G. Lamas, Isaias M. Lamas, Nyah O. Ramirez, and Ian G. Ramirez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL, with Fr. James Fee officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
