Bobby G. Fehl, age 92, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on August 29, 1927 in East St. Louis, IL, died surrounded by his family on December 23, 2019 at Alive Hospice Residence, Nashville, TN.
Bobby was a United States WWII Navy Veteran. He worked as an electrician at General Motors in St. Louis, MO and retired after 38 years in 1987. He was a member and devoted volunteer of New Life Evangelistic Church of St. Louis, MO. He loved cars, motorcycles, cooking, Sam’s Club and loved reading Consumer Report magazine. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could always be counted on in their times of need. He will truly be missed by all who have ever known him more than any words can say.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty J. Fehl, nee Raymond; his parents, James Edward and Ida Mae Fehl, nee Reinhardt; his siblings, George Fehl, Harry Fehl, Donald Fehl, Buddy Fehl, Bernice Fehl and Blanche Fehl; and his niece, Charlotte Fehl.
Bobby is survived by his children, Robert Fehl (Alice) of Brentwood, TN, and Sabrina Fehl Stansbury (Tabb) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Julia Christine Fehl of Brentwood, TN, and Megan Narramore of Redding, CA; his great-grandchildren, Annabella, Scarlett and Easton Narramore, of Redding CA; and his nieces and nephews, Gina Fehl Commons of Belleville, IL, Denice Fehl McPherson of Fairview Heights, IL, Tony Fehl of Houston, TX and Billy Joe Miles of Arizona.
Memorials may be made to the New Life Evangelistic Homeless Shelter of St. Louis, MO.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.
A burial of cremated remains with military honors will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
