Billy C. Lynn

Billy C. Lynn, age 80, of Swansea, IL, born on July 14, 1945, in Madison, IL, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Bradford Place, Swansea, IL.

Billy was a Vietnam Army Veteran.  He worked construction and was a carpenter in high rise and home construction throughout the United States for 25 years.  Billy loved traveling, 50’s music, and family road trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Mary, nee Holt Lynn; and his sisters, Sarah Esparza and Patty Waters.

Billy is survived by his wife, Diane Lynn, nee Oliver; his children, Mike Tracy, Diane (Jack) Arnold, Tony (Carol) Lynn, Thasa Gosberry, Ashley (Charlie) White, and Alonzo Johnson; his grandchildren, Michael, Ethan, Taylor, Ryan, Brianna, Alie, Cora, Nathan, and Jonta; his great grandchildren, Emmett and Jaxon; his sisters, Bourbon Lynn, Lonnette Lynn, Debbie Allen and Melanie Lynn; and his brother, Jimmy Lynn.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at  1:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Ron Habernehl officiating.  Interment with military honors, will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
