Betty McClanahan

My condolence to the McClanahan family. Mrs. McClanahan was one of my favorite teachers at St. Mary's / St. Marks when growing up. I remember her as one of those special teachers who was well connected to the students. One of the best outcomes of St. Marks merging with St. Mary's was having quality teachers like her. The other was meeting Madison friends from going to school there. May the family have peace that she is in Heaven. former 4th grade student Danny Daniels

Philosophers statesmen famous women have offered this observance in the past-"...no one will ever love you as much as your own mother.." although the authenticity and accuracy could be challenged- No one could discount the effect that Betty had on you- Kathy and Linda and Michael..your lives and the people you love are truly a lasting testament to her spirit, her personality, her love...i do not claim to have much information but please know that i believe with all my soul, she will be with you, all the days of your life. She was a great, great person.
