Antonio Ramirez

Antonio Ramirez, age 86, of Fairmont City, IL, born on December 21, 1932 in San Juan de Los Logos, Mexico, died on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at his residence.

Antonio was a bricklayer and had farmed in the past.  He loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Fausta nee, Olivarez, Ramirez; his brother, Ismael Ramirez; and his son-in-law, Jose Sandoval.

Antonio is survived by his wife, Paula Ramirez, nee Martin; his children, Silvia (Miguel Munoz) Ramirez, Maria Guadalupa (Alfonso Munoz) Ramirez, Raquel (Juan Escoto) Ramirez, Jose Luis (Estela Munoz) Ramirez, Ma. Ines Ramirez, Martha (Rodolfo Garcia) Garcia Ramirez, Rosendo (Lorena Lopez) Ramirez, Ernestina (Raul Garcia) Ramirez and Jorge (Marta) Ramirez; 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Enriquerta Ramirez and Ladislado Ramirez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.  Interment will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL.
