Anthony A Green

Anthony A. “Pee Wee” Green, age 73, of O’Fallon, IL, born on July 14, 1951, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his residence.

Anthony was a devoted husband, father, family member and friend. He and Virginia were married on November 18, 1972, and were married for 52 loving years He worked as a maintenance technician for various local companies. Anthony loved fishing, the outdoors, western films, Gunsmoke, Star Trek, 60 Minutes, and Pawn Stars. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #664, and O’Fallon Sportsman’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Edward and Loretta Agnes, nee Mousette Green; his siblings, Charles, Edward Lee, Frank Green, Jimmy Embrich, and Dorothy; nieces and nephew, Hayley and Katrina and Charles Green; mother and father-in-law, Bille D. and Virginia Grey; and brothers and sister in law, Dora Lee Goff, Richard Goff, Michael Stevens and Jody Halstead.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Virginia Green, nee Grey; his children, Craig (Joyell) Green and Keith Green (Annette Jansen); his granddaughter, Molly O’Shaunessy; his sisters-in-law, Ardella A. Green, Elaine Rodriguez, Sandy Halstead, and Carol Lee (Roger); and his brothers-in-law, William Grey (Linda) and Robert Grey (Jordan); and many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL, with Pastor Scott Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
