Andrew Durzo

Andrew Durzo, age 80, of Fairview Heights, IL, born on December 24, 1942, in East St. Louis, IL, died on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at his residence.

Andrew graduated from Assumption High School and managed Kroger Grocery Stores and Hart Food and Drug in the area for 45 years. He played softball, golf; enjoyed bowling, and going to the Casino Queen.  Andrew was an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals and Blues, and was a member of the Shiloh Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Durzo, nee Keeling; and his parents, Andrew Durzo and Adele Mohl.

Andrew is survived by his children, Angie (Chris) Nastoff, Debbie (Phil) Childers, and Jeff (Holly) Durzo; his grandchildren, Dayton Durzo, Christopher Nastoff, Brooks Hackney, and Gabby Durzo; and his brother, Don (Jean) Durzo.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.  Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
