Alfonso Galeana Flores

Alfonso Galeana Flores, age 83, of O’Fallon, IL, born on May 22, 1942, in Coyuca de Benitez Guerrero, Mexico, died on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Apolonio Galeana and Margarita Flores.

Alfonso is survived by his wife, Francisca Andrade Mandujano; 6 children, Pedro Galeana of O’Fallon, IL, Monica Galeana of Chicago, IL, Noel Galeana of Chicago, IL, Maria Galeana, Ricardo Galeana and Leticia Galeana all of Mexico; many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Alfonso is also survived by his sister, Elvira Nambo Flores of Caseyville, IL; and his brother, Jesus Nambo Flores of Caseyville, IL.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, IL. Alfonso will be buried in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico at a later date.
