Agustina Avila

Agustina Avila, age 76, of Fairmont City, IL, born on August 28, 1949, in Mexico City, Mexico, died on Friday, July 3, 2026, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison, WI.

Agustina was a homemaker who adored and cared for her husband, children and grandchildren.  She attended weekly mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, or the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows Chapel.

Agustina is preceded in death by her parents, Nestor Jaimes and Saturnina Osorio.

She is survived by her husband, Norberto Avila; her children, Jorge Avila, Maria Avila, Luis Avila, Jose Avila, and Martin Avila; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jorge, Gabriela, Quetzali, Norberto, Yahir, Yaelen, Mariana, Betsy, Armando, Guadalupe, Emmanuel, Yamilet, Lupita, Miguel and Bryan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL.

A Mass of  Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL with Fr. Harold Fisher, O.M.I. officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
