Aaron S. Hernandez

Aaron Saul Hernandez, age 20, of Fairmont City, IL, born on May 26, 2004, in Belleville, IL, died on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Aaron was a apprentice ironworker for Iron Workers Local #392.  He loved anything to do with horses; enjoying riding and competitions his entire lifetime.  Aaron loved eating, especially steak.  He also enjoyed all types of music and bands. We will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his parents, Armando and Guadalupe, nee Gonzalez Hernandez; his sister, Maria “Araceli” Hernandez; his brother, Armando L. Hernandez; his niece, Annelle Hernandez; his nephew, Carlos Hernandez; his paternal grandfather, Perfecto Hernandez; his maternal grandmother, Maria Gonzales; and his loving girlfriend, Payton Smith.  Aaron is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fairmont City, IL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Harold Fisher O.M.I. officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
