Walter “Wally” Borowy, age 64, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Freeburg, IL, born on September 10, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO.
Wally was born and raised Catholic, attending St. Philips Grade School and Assumption Catholic High School. Over the years he notably hosted some of the great parties known as Wally Bangers and Wally Fests. He retired after 25 years as a beer bottler with Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis, MO.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Evelyn, nee Werner, Borowy; and his brother, Billy McCoy.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Rose Borowy; his children, Chelsey Lyn Barnett-DeRossett of St. Louis, MO, Sally Rose (Brannon) Borowy-Lehan of Freeburg, IL and Nicholas Joseph Borowy of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Miranda Rose DeRossett, Tristan Dale DeRossett, Charles Nicholas Borowy and Samantha Rose Lehan. Wally was a proud husband, father, an extra proud grandfather and faithful friend of too many to mention.

A Celebration of Wally’s life will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Quail Club, 8303 Concordia Church Rd., Belleville, IL.
